About This Position

The Concilio is looking for a Vice President of Development as a key member of its executive leadership team.  The VP will serve as the chief strategist and relationship-builder for all fundraising and marketing efforts. As such, the VP will oversee major giving, institutional partnerships, special events, development operations, and communications. The VP will supervise the development team and work closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior staff to build a culture of philanthropy and visibility for the organization’s mission.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; CFRE or advanced degree preferred
  • 5–7 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles
  • Demonstrated success in securing and stewarding major gifts and institutional funding
  • Strategic thinker with experience aligning fundraising with mission impact
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including donor storytelling
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM system
  • Deep passion for The Concilio’s mission and a demonstrated commitment to equity and community impact
