Team Coaching For Shifting Focus to Collective Value and Future Vision

To address these issues, CMP used an approach centered on creating shared ownership and a vision for the team’s future:

  1. Strengths and Skills Mapping Team members identified their unique skills, creating a visual strengths map that highlighted their collective value and essential role in the company.
  2. Team Charter and Vision Through a collaborative workshop, the team defined a purpose and goals aligned with company priorities, helping them feel more integral to the organization.
  3. Future Scenario Planning The team envisioned potential future scenarios, focusing on adaptability and ways they could evolve to meet new challenges, helping shift mindsets from fear to proactive planning.
  4. Project Ownership Each team member took on small, value-added projects to enhance the internal customer experience, which allowed them to demonstrate their relevance and value directly to leadership.
  5. Leadership Check-InsMonthly meetings with senior leaders offered feedback, increased transparency, and boosted morale by highlighting the team’s contributions.

Outcome

This intervention led to a marked improvement in confidence and collaboration. The team felt more secure and valuable within the company, focusing less on job loss fears and more on their collective impact. With clear alignment to company goals and recognition from leadership, they achieved higher engagement and demonstrated resilience through the restructuring process.
