Jan MoormanJan is a dynamic trainer and passionate career consultant, assisting both organizations and clients achieve their personal, professional and organizational goals. She has over 18 years of diverse experience in Healthcare, Newspaper, Banking, Government and Non-profit, Manufacturing and Telecommunications organizations.  Because of her diverse background, she is able to work effectively with all levels of management and staff in both the public and private sector.

Jan’s passion is Career Management and her experience includes Career Coaching and Development, Internal Career Management, and designing and managing Career Centers.  She has taught over 400 career transition workshops for all levels of employees and provided individual career coaching to hundreds more.  Her expertise also includes Management and Organizational Development, Change Management, Interviewing and Hiring, Customer Service, and Presentation Skills.

Jan also has certifications in the use of numerous 360 degree management and personality assessment instruments including Myers-Briggs, PDI’s “Profilor”, CCL’s “Benchmarks”, and Conflict Dynamics Profile.  Her training certifications include DDI’s Leadership Training Series, Targeted Selection, Conflict Dynamics Profile Training, and Managing the Human Side of Change.

Her corporate career also includes working as an internal management and training consultant, and classroom facilitator.  This variety of experience gives her a unique ability to see beyond the classroom and into the organization.  She has established and managed an internal career center and is currently developing a Career Coaching Program for Managers.  Her most recent in-house corporate experience includes working for Bank One, Texas for over four years as a Management Development Consultant and trainer.

Jan is also a proud “Tarheel”, having graduated with a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She has also received graduate training in Human Resource Development. She is also currently an adjunct instructor at Brookhaven College and is active and has served on boards in numerous professional and civic associations including ASTD, APT, ACP and the Dallas Symphony Chorus.
