Keith NaveIt is hard for me to believe that 20 years ago I founded my own company that 10 years ago evolved into Career Management Partners, CMP.

Our unique philosophy of one-on-one counseling was quickly embraced by the market and we landed our first major client, a major North Texas telecommunications equipment provider.  From that point, our approach of relationship selling through trusted colleagues got a great deal of traction and we quickly rounded out our client base with firms in banking, financial services, technology, consumer products and construction.  In the early days and up to the present, our caring approach to the market was characterized by a great deal of pro bono work to individuals in need.  Additionally, I am proud to say that we have sponsored a networking group of Senior HR professionals in the DFW area for over 10 years.

To my good fortune, when I started CMP, I was joined by Dick Ulrich, Senior Vice President.  Dick remains a colleague, friend, and an absolute key to our success.

In 2003, CMP joined Lincolnshire International, a partnership of all locally owned and managed outplacement firms across the United States which shared our personal commitment to “high touch” service delivery.  In 2007, Lincolnshire International joined Arbora Global, another partnership of locally managed companies with global coverage.  The Arbora connection has provided CMP with international reach from Europe to Asia.  In 2009 Bob Elam and Jan Moorman joined CMP as Vice Presidents.  They bring enormous talent and energy, as well as widely respected reputations for integrity, professionalism, quality, and caring.

As I reflect on the success CMP has enjoyed, I know it is because of the extraordinary team of dedicated professionals that make up CMP.  We have unwaveringly kept our focus on delivering quality one-on-one programs customized to meet our candidates’ needs.  Also, we are committed to going the extra mile to assist both individual candidates and our client companies.

Recently, CMP was honored to receive a Best Places to Work award by the Dallas Business Journal.  Receiving this only strengthens our commitment to quality, caring, specialized outplacement and executive coaching programs.

All of us at CMP are grateful that we have been entrusted by client companies from a wide range of industries to assist their departing employees.
